Jitters is opening nightly anytime between 8pm and 12am, depending on the number of volunteers we have. Want to help keep us open every night? Great!

About
Jitters is a coffeehouse for students, by students. In early 1997 a few creative people started to show interest and support for creating a coffeehouse in their building. These individuals all saw the potential for Jitters to help create a lasting, strong, and vital sense of community. It would soon become a place for the campus’ artists, poets, authors, musicians, actors, comedians, dancers and other assorted folks to enjoy a cup of joe and a good time.
We offers open mic nights, live band performances, game nights, dances, acoustic music, the occasional smoothie night, and other assorted programs. Email Brian Turner if you or your band would like to set up a show. Interested in using Jitters for your Student Org or Department? Fill out this Jitters Facility Utilization Request form to request a reservation. All forms must be submitted at least two weeks prior to the event. Submission of this form does not guarantee acceptance. Please allow up to one week to receive a response regarding the acceptance or denial of your request.
We are located on he first floor of the Wells Towers on the UW-Whitewater campus, more specifically beneath Wells East.
